Administrative Investigator Training Course- Full 5 day training program

Modules throughout the 5 day training include but are not limited to:

  • Legislation and the Canada Labour Code
  • Personal & unconscious bias
  • Ethics in investigations
  • Preparing for an interview
  • Building rapport
  • Trauma-responsive approaches
  • Interpreting values and ethics & code of conducts
  • Analyzing data and justifying your findings
  • Root Cause Analysis (1/2 day portion of the training)
  • Collaborative approaches to working with clients
  • Writing recommendations

 

Preventative Training for Workplaces:

  • Harassment and Violence Awareness and Prevention
  • Managing Employee Conflict
  • Respectful Workplace Communication

 

Stand-alone workshops and add-ons:

  • The business of administrative investigations: half day presentation for future external investigators
  • Creating rapport and trauma-responsive approaches: full day workshop exploring how to maintain rapport with clients while protecting the integrity of an investigation, building rapport with main parties, and trauma-responsive interview techniques and approaches to use throughout the investigative process
  • Analyzing occurrences: full day workshop of various scenarios to practice analyzing data and justifying findings
