Our approach
We ensure that our process meet the needs of our clients while respecting provincial and federal laws and regulations that govern workplace complaints and allegations.
HENRI Inc. investigators will develop a work plan based on client expectations identified in the initial contract. The work plan outlines each step within our process, as well as expected or estimated timelines. We aim to meet with all parties (in person or virtually) in a timely manner to collect the data needed for a thorough and complete analysis of the workplace or allegations.
Our investigations and assessments identify root causes of any workplace risks or founded allegations. This step is crucial in providing the client insight not only into the symptoms of the problem or risk, but the core issues leading to conflict or risks being present within their workplace.
Allegations that we investigate are assessed against the six criteria needed for harassment to be founded. We use the reasonable persons test, balance of probability, and the test for discrimination before determining the outcome of an investigation.
Our reports are written to maintain the confidentiality of the parties involved, as is required under Bill C-65. Reports written for complaints filed before January of 2021 will reflect previous legislative requirements and may identify parties based on the preference of the client. We respect the confidentiality of all the data we collect due to the sensitive nature of our work.
We communicate with key parties and the client throughout our contract. This ensures that realistic expectations are set for everyone, there is transparency in the process, and any delays that may arise are communicated in a timely manner.
